The founding story

Two industries, one booking

Shaden Travel Agency is a newly founded company based in Arusha, Tanzania. It sits at the intersection of two industries that are usually handled separately: private aviation and safari logistics — chartering the aircraft and helicopters, and arranging the safari travel, that a single trip through northern Tanzania actually requires.

Arusha is the reason the two belong together. As the gateway city to the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Kilimanjaro, nearly every safari and every climb in the region routes through it. Shaden was built for that specific geography — a company positioned exactly where the flight and the safari meet, rather than upstream or downstream of it.

That positioning shapes what we do: private jet charter for domestic and international routes, helicopter rentals by the hour, commercial air ticket booking, full domestic and international safari logistics, and luggage handling across every leg in between. Five services, arranged as one continuous itinerary rather than five separate bookings.
